I’m a firm believer that the forces of musical storytelling can move mountains. Never have I ever been so touched as when I discovered some of my favorite film scores as a child, and ever since then, it has been my mission to help others feel the same. Since I’ve lived in Sweden, Ireland, and the United States, and have varied experience in classical, jazz, and popular music genres, I bring a unique blend of cultural backgrounds into my music. My love for music exists beyond the conventions of genre and tradition. What is important to me is that the music tells a story and expresses emotion, and that’s why film music fits me so well as a composer. My goal is always to find the emotional core of a story, and then convey it through music. I work hard to find those little details that help the director’s vision come to life.
